A Few Words About Me
Dr. Muddasir Ahmed Bhati is a highly distinguished Senior Oral Cancer Surgeon specializing in Head & Neck Oncology, with extensive training in both India and Germany. With over 10 years of vast experience and more than 1000 surgeries performed, he is recognized as one of the best oral cancer surgeons in Mumbai.
Dr. Bhati’s notable achievements include:
Developing a Splitless, Scarless Approach: He was part of the team that developed a splitless, scarless approach for excising oral cavity tumors (article under publication).
International Recognition through UICC Fellowship: He was awarded the esteemed UICC Fellowship (Union for International Cancer Control) and trained at Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany, under the mentorship of Prof. Al Nawaz and Prof. Kammerer, making him one of the few Indian surgeons selected for this honor.
Pioneering Cancer Research: He worked as a Research Fellow on a collaborative project between Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and the University of Chicago, USA, to develop a tool for early cancer diagnosis from saliva.
Extensive Fellowship Training: He completed a prestigious Fellowship in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and further advanced his expertise with a visiting scholarship at Marburg University, Germany, with Prof. Neff. He also completed the FHNO Travel Fellowship at Prince Aly Khan Hospital, Mumbai, under the guidance of renowned oncologist Dr. Sultan Pradhan.
Leadership in Oral Oncology Education: He serves as the Fellowship Director for the AOMSI Oral Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Bhati’s expertise encompasses minimal invasive, scarless, and advanced stage oral cancer surgeries. His robust educational background includes a Master’s in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from RGUHS, Bangalore.
